Every F1 team has politics but Ferrari probably has the worst of it. Every driver comes out of the scuderia more defeated mentally than when he went in.

I think even the second departure of Räikönnen in 2018 was akward: After he had even challenged Vettel with one pole and one win as well as 9 consecutive podiums he had to go because Leclerc had signed an early contract and threatened to file a lawsuit. Although was glad to come back to Sauber, it could have been All so much more fair and square

Vettel brought it upon himself, crashed 4 times in a row in 2018 and threw the title away. 2019 was embarrassing and 2020 was a train wreck. Even at Aston Martin, in his first race he was crashing again in a situation which should not happen with an experienced driver.

Your claims about Alonso leaving are absolutely wrong. I have heard and read via many sources the same story. He asked to leave. You are the only ones making this claim he wanted to stay. How can every one be wrong except for you? Get your facts right and leave sensationalism for other websites. I expect a higher level of journalistic credibility from you three!!!

You are being very kind to the Scuderia over the Raikkonen split... Raikkonen being Ferraris latest champion and won in 2007 in nearly impossible and glorious terms after trailing Hamilton and Alonzo for most of the season was subjected to a smear where any photo of him partying would be met by Montezemolo openly questioning his commitment to racing... Raikkonen not only got his seat back in 2014 but he is probably the first and only driver who also got an apology for his treatment proceeding his exit... I think Montezomolos criticism has aged very poorly...

I totally agree with poor Seb being the most awkward! Seeing Seb and how much more relaxed and loose he likes to be, Ferrari could of learned a thing or two about how to manage people. I think if the culture had been better for Seb, he would have had 2 titles with them.

The hate is strong. If the Brits just bothered to dig for stories in their own teams. They won’t, of course, as they are all friends. Half of F1 journalists staff has worked for the English teams. The Alonso and Kimi stories are tabloid style exaggerated, and Alonso probably felt his relationship with Ron Dennis was quite a bit more awkward than his departure in 2014. Kimi shrugs it off, but The Race is deeply concerned for him how uneasy it most have been. The Vettel story must have been weird, but even weirder if he didn’t see it coming after being thrashed by the “rookie”. Awkward definitely, but more awkward than Ricciardo and Renault? Love your analysis and technical videos, The Race, but this is clickbait and shark food for Ferrari haters.

Regardless which famous drivers drive for Ferrair, the name Ferrari always comes first, not the drivers. The drivers are replaceable but not the Ferrari name. If the drivers did not deliver good results, off they go. It's business, not charity. I think the only driver Ferrari really appreciated and treasured was Schumacher which he rightly deserved after winning 5 titles for Ferrari. I am not a Ferrari fan but I do hope that they finally can be competitive again this year and beyond

That Ferrari still deserves special treatment from the FIA leaves me baffled. Through my adolescence, Ferrari was absolute rubbish with Alesi and Gerber... and later on, to this day, only saw moments of brilliance thanks to very talented drivers... and not good management.

Prost was right.. At Ferrari, in 2 years time there can be good or bad.. Such extremes are not good for continuity and consistency. God knows how Vettel dealt with all this shit.. 2015 - 3 wins 2016 - 0 wins 2017 - 5 wins 2018 - 5 wins 2019 - 1 win 2020 - 0 wins either Ferrari can be good or bad.. they can't make a car capable of winning certain number of races each year.. RedBull: ultimate young driver's career destroyer Ferrari: Ultimate Champions' career destroyer.

9:14 - Mattia: we did not share the same goals..!! well it is like Sebastian don't want Ferrari to win WCC and he himself doesn't want to win WDC.. which can't be true.. So in short Mattia wanted to make Charles No.1 and Seb No.2... which Seb didn't accept hence not the same goal anymore.

Well Mansell not only "felt" the favour treatment of Prost by that happened. Mansell set pole in France. Prost asked to have his car for the next race, british gp. And Mansell came to the box and felt the car was different. Well they gave his car to Prost!!!!! So Mansell set up the car as higher as he could on qualy and runned to win in race time but he had gearbox issues and he had to retire. Then he decided he had enough of that sh*t. Also lets not forget when Prost landed at Ferrari Mansell really admired him (check his autobiography and the new one) and also Prost checked that there were some team crew from Williams (Mansell came from Williams) but those guys were signed before even Mansell arrived. So Prost thought this was a Mansell move to make the team his. While Mansell did not do that. So Prost made Ferrari sign many workers from McLaren to own the team. And oh boy if he did.

Ferrari : Only team to have won races with every single regulation and every type of engine. Mclaren and Williams : 2nd and 3rd most successful teams in F1 and they can't hold a candle to Ferrari Red Bull : Only won 4 championships with pretty much the same rules and only V8 and mainly thanks to Adrian Newey. Has treated countless drivers like shit. Mercedes : Despite being much older than Ferrari and being always involved in motorsport, only joined F1 in 2010 buying Brawn GP because they knew they would have got their ass kicked between 1956 and 2009. F1 fans : "Ferrari is so shit"

Ferrari will win when they stop doing things the Ferrari way. Evidence of this is when Brawn, Todd and Micheal was there. They isolated the team from Ferrari in Italy and became successful. They have very little opportunities since then. As a team and driver 2007. As a team maybe 2008. They should ha e won the drivees in 2012 with Alonso. They need to be a more open team if they are to be successful.

Ferrari was absolutely right not to renew Vettel’s contract. There were so many driver errors from Vettel the last few years, and his performance on track was definitely not worth the hefty salary they were paying him. Their mistake was letting go of Alonso in 2014, thinking they have a better replacement in Vettel, thus squandering the championship contending cars they finally managed to build in 2017 and 2018.

I think one common denominator needs to be looked at with them and Mclaren and Williams: Oldest teams on the grid and struggles that start right at management. Notice that with Mclaren and now Williams, things are look far less dire and tragic. Ferrari however, still having the same stubborn management and look what its doing to them. Ferrari simply refuses to do anything with its top management, only ever firing and hiring seemingly willy nilly as a band-aid solution instead of addressing the wound itself. They've unfortunately inherited Enzo Ferrari's Bull headed attitude (the same one that thanks to a heated exchange with a young man named Feruccio, would give us Lamborghini) and unless a driver shows up with someone to back them up (Like Schumi did with Todt and Brawn, something that no driver since then has enjoyed), they'll NEVER get a title with Ferrari. I feel in a way, without discrediting his skills, that Raikkonnen more or less was lucky to be there fresh after the Schumi-Todt-Brawn dynasty and there was enough leftover knowledge combined with his talent (and the implosion at Mclaren) that basically helped him get his title despite not having the backup. You look at Mclaren's old management and the internal power struggle even before Honda came in and then after switching to Renault, still having issues (Meanwhile, Honda is enjoying actual competitive runs with Toro Rosso and then Red Bull) and then you look at the management of Williams (Which mostly came down to Frank Williams and Patrick Head), both had just dreadful performances and an environment that was just not at all ideal. There needs to be a monumental shakeup not just with the F1 team, but up top. The old ways NEED to go, the "Traditions" NEED to go. The Enzo Ferrari way simply doesn't work anymore (See: Mercedes).
